President & CEO
Fehmi Karahan has been active in Dallas-Fort Worth real estate since 1984 and has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Karahan Companies and its affiliated entities since its organization in 1992. The Karahan Companies is a fully integrated group of real estate development property management and investment operation with a wide range of capabilities and resources through a worldwide network of investment and strategic partners. Karahan has been involved in the development of retail, office and mixed-use projects throughout DFW, including most notably Legacy Town Center in Plano. Currently, he is leading the development of Legacy West adjacent to the JCPenney headquarters, including the $500 million mixed-use Legacy West urban center. Karahan has also been a principal investor and a major owner and developer of single-tenant, campus and critical facility real estate throughout the United States, with more than $3 billion in development and structured lease transactions. Karahan is a member of the Executive Board of the Cox School of Business at SMU and the Board of Trustees of Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas; he has also been active in the community activities of Children’s Medical Center in Plano. Karahan has been a member of the Legacy Association Board of Directors since 2004 and currently serves as Board Chairman and a member of the Legacy Design Review Board. Karahan received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Istanbul and then attended Columbia University in New York. He received his MBA degree from the University of North Texas. He is fluent in Turkish, German and English.
As General Manager, Lori Decker has broad oversight responsibility in the Companies' daily operations. Decker's professional experience comprises of over 20 years in commercial real estate legal administration, managing organizational and client activities at the law firm of Grogan & Brawner for 13 years. Decker joined the Companies in 2011 from Abernathy, Roeder, Boyd & Joplin, where she has earned a reputation as a strong team leader and results-driven manager. She is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University and a Collin County resident with great passion for her community.
Belinda Eller is Managing Director of the Companies’ Legacy West development. Eller's extensive experience in property management spans over 25 years. Before joining the Companies, Eller was Vice President of Property Operations at Stream Data Centers. Her earlier years were spent at organizations such as CBRE, The Bissell Companies, and The Crossland Group. Eller is licensed by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission and holds a CPM designation by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She is a graduate of Gardner Webb University with a BS in Business Administration.
Director of Development
Stewart Storms coordinates all on-site project activities for the Companies' Legacy West retail development, part largest under-construction real estate project in Texas. Storms prepares and distributes all budgets and schedules, issues and manages all contracts related to construction management, design, and engineering production drawings. His other responsibilities include general and subcontractor coordination, engineering programming, cost control, schedule adherence, and quality assurance. Storms' background in business finance includes 15 years of banking experience, most recently as Vice President of Commercial Lending for American National Bank. A licensed Texas realtor, Storms also owns and manages several personal real estate properties. He holds BBA and MBA from Texas Tech University.
Director of Marketing
A national media mainstay, Victoria Snee directs marketing, sales, promotional, and community outreach activities for the Companies’ Legacy West development. Prior to joining the Companies in 2015, Snee headed the marketing efforts at NorthPark Center, whose sales exceeded $1.3 billion under her leadership. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Snee is an AP award-winning journalist and author who has produced, reported and written at length for outlets across the globe. Snee actively serves key roles on numerous philanthropic and community boards, including Hendrick Scholarship Foundation, the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Plano, NFL Player Jason Witten’s SCORE Foundation, and Gleneagles Country Club.
Director of Consumer Engagement
Gabriel Roxas oversees engagement and experiential marketing for the Companies’ Legacy West development. An Emmy award recipient, Roxas worked for three years at CBS Corporation in television news before joining the Companies. Apart from a distinguished career in journalism, Roxas contributes a depth of knowledge in the fields of corporate communication, data science, international finance, and business economics. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, where his editorials appeared regularly in the Daily Trojan.
As Property Manager, Natalie Alvarez administers day-to-day operations at the Companies' Shops at Legacy development and assists in the management of Legacy West. Alvarez's has over six years of experience in property management and commercial real estate market research. In 2013, she was nominated for Property Administrator of the Year with BOMA Dallas. She was responsible for several million square feet of retail, office, industrial, and development projects throughout Texas and is adept at tenant, vendor, and client relations.
Property Management Coordinator
Lynn Zuercher is the Companies' Property Management Coordinator. Separately, Lynn serves as Coordinator for Legacy Association, a Texas nonprofit corporation formed in 1987 to maintain, enhance, and improve the quality of Legacy Business Park, a 2,665-acre master-planned corporate community that is home to several Fortune 500 companies. In this role, Zuercher supports the Association’s Board of Directors fulfill their mission of advocating for and advancing the interest of Association members. Before joining the Companies, Zuercher worked as Property Manager for Crossmark, Inc. in Plano, where she provided management support for office locations throughout the country. She is a graduate of Kansas State University.
Jaklyn Huffman aides the Companies’ front office and PBX operations. Huffman has vast experience in a variety of administrative roles, including reception, event coordination, reporting, and vendor management, and has managed complex enterprise telephony portals.
