"We only have one more restaurant site and we are keeping that for something, but we haven't found the concept yet," Karahan, CEO of The Karahan Cos. of Plano told the Dallas Business Journal.

"It would be between the Tommy Bahamas concept and North Italia by the fountain in the middle of the project," he added. "It's not a large space, but it would be perfect for a nice local flavor."

At the southern entrance of Legacy West, Karahan has planned the site of the Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, of which the ownership group behind the concept is investing "large sums of capital," to make it a top-notch steakhouse.

The steakhouse will sit adjacent to three concepts by restaurateur Alberto Lombardi, which include Toulouse (an authentic French bistro), KAI Asian Bistro (in lieu of Bistro 31) and Taverna.

Legacy West will also include Earls Kitchen & Bar, a Canadian-conceptwith upscale, high-energy cuisine, which is very similar to a Hillstone or Houston's type of restaurant, Karahan told me.

Other concepts include:

Shake Shack
Tommy Bahama's Island Store with an attached island-themed restaurant and bar
North Italia and True Food ( two concepts led by Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Concepts)
Sprinkles Cupcakes
Haywire, a restaurant concept created by Front Burner Restaurants that will be similar to The Ranch in Las Colinas. Front Burner Restaurants will also oversee the 55,000-square-foot food hall in Legacy West.
Fogo de Chao

Along with the restaurants, Karahan is in the midst of getting contracts with a number of retailers wanting entry into his Legacy West development. The deals have yet to be fully executed.
